Established in early 2024, Coastal Crochet specializes in modern style makes for little one’s hands as well as wearables for all ages. Every item is crafted with love and care in Half Moon Bay with the highest quality materials and "inspired by this beautiful coastal country town I get to call home".
Haven Lund, Dreamy Glass Studio
Haven Lund is a stained glass artist based near La Honda in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Dreamy Glass Studio was created in January 2020 when Haven taught herself the stained glass craft and has grown to include fused glass. Her designs are whimsical and inspired by nature, using bright colors and textured glass.
Michelle Trumpler, HUMBA Supply Co.
"Humba" is a local slang word for Half Moon Bay but to
Michelle Trumpler of
HUMBA Supply Co. it’s also an amazing feeling. Born and raised on the coastside, she takes inspiration for their coastal streetwear lines of hats, t-shirts, and sweatshirts from familiar elements of the Half Moon Bay coastside.
Jill Impink, Love Stretchy Treats
Jill Impink is a lifelong Coastside resident and certified dog lover! After a career-changing event during the height of the COVID pandemic and the loss of her beloved dachshund, Stretchy, Jill found solace and satisfaction in the creative process of making all-natural dog treats. Her goal since the beginning was to make enough money to donate to dog rescues. Jill says, "I can't adopt all the dogs, but I can raise money to help rescues."
Love Stretchy has donated hundreds of dollars and hosted several dog rescue events. Of course, her two rescue pups, Rudy and Lulu, helped with the recipe development process! You will find all-natural dog treats, fun-decorated dog cookies, and festive bandanas at her booth.
Carlie Peck aka Ms. Quilty McQuilderson
When
Carlie Peck isn't in the classroom with her sixth grade science students, she's Ms. Quilty McQuilterson, busily sewing through miles of thread. Carlie makes quilts, wall hangings, bags, pouches, placemats, laptop sleeves, lanyards, key fobs, wallets - basically anything that can be quilted and/or sewn. When possible, she repurposes her quilting scraps into other creations, reducing textile waste. She also loves hand embroidering thrifted clothing, giving it a new life. Carlie is inspired by modern design, bright colors, and nature themes.

Dawne Hornung, Coastal Dawne
Dawne Hornung of
Coastal Dawne creates unique, handmade pieces using natural surfaces such as seashells and time-honored techniques like decoupage and gilding. Dawne has lived on the coast for over 30 years and has been in the craft business as well.
Jan and Jenny, LeighLee's Garden
Two retired educators, as well as high school "besties,"
Jan and Jenny created
LeighLee's Garden (a conflation of their middle names) less than two years ago. Upon seeing so many smiles from adults and children alike as they viewed their birdhouses, Jan and Jenny knew they were onto something special. With their new release from rigid bell schedules and stacks of papers to grade, Jan and Jenny now embrace their newfound passion for creating whimsical beauty. Nothing soothes the soul more than artistic innovation, so they have learned. Their many-themed, one-of-a-kind, reclaimed wood birdhouses are created and designed with materials foraged from Mother Nature as well as quirky, recycled finds located throughout the community (and some power tools, of course). If you don't see your unique fantasy, no worries: LeighLee's Garden can create a special house just for you with a special order. They have expanded their garden theme to include a variety of vintage cups/containers with succulents from their greenhouse gardens. Follow Jan and Jenny on
Facebook,
Instagram, or simply go to the website,

Sydney Shives, Waylon West Co.
Sydney Shives of
Waylon West Co. creates an eclectic collection of handmade items inspired by the California coast and made with love in Half Moon Bay. All fabric is hand dyed with different plants, some of which come from her home garden. Sydney loves to combine the beautiful fabrics with hand-carved block prints that reflect some of her favorite flowers found on the coast, such as poppies and chamomile. Her crocheted items have a coastal style and are perfect to take to the beach.
Jennifer O'Quigley
Jennifer O'Quigley makes whimsical ceramics that are both functional and evoke a smile. She creates bowls, plates, cups and the occasional sculptural vase. With a background in graphic design, Jennifer utilizes those skills to create unique pieces with underglaze and pattern.
Bryan and Lisa McClaine, Fire Creek Forge
Bryan McClaine spent many of his younger years as a snowboard pioneer in Tahoe and Mammoth and then as a commercial fisherman and dog musher in Homer, Alaska. He has been an inventor, creator, maker and artist since childhood. He has always made handles for knives and designed many a blade, but after several years working at the Half Moon Bay Feed and Fuel, and then COVID hit, he had an opportunity to "forge" out on his own and began creating his own blades from start to finish. Bryan customized his home workshop into a bladesmithing forge and, after battling the CZU Lightning Complex Fires in 2020, created the name
Fire Creek Forge (FCF) as he fought the flames coming down the creek by his house.
Bryan currently lives in La Honda with his wife, Lisa, who helps with the business’s website, Instagram and marketing, and their Australian cattledogs, Ruger, Blue and Coyote.
FCF creates one-of-a-kind custom made blades. Steel used in the blades is 5160 spring steel reclaimed from the leaf springs of trucks. Handles are naturally shed elk antler sourced from the Pacific Northwest. FCF creates culinary blades and blades used for the outdoors. The blades are meant to be used, will last for generations, and are a combination of function and beauty.
Kelly Ritter, Water & Shade
Kelly Ritter of
Water & Shade in Moss Beach creates watercolors and digital art inspired by the flora and fauna of the coast.
Jennifer Clark
Jennifer Clark of Half Moon Bay is a professional fine artist and photographer who finds inspiration in nature and technology, transforming "What if?" into "How does she do it?" Using her own drawings, paintings and photographs of flora and fauna, she creates stunning abstractions of color and shape. Best of all, Jennifer’s work is designed to be worn, to drape your table for a party, or even to hang as unique wall art.
Joe Altwer
Joe Altwer might be known best for his oil painting but he has always had an interest in woodworking. After moving back to Half Moon Bay in 2019, Joe bought his first wood lathe and has been hooked ever since. He has taken a number of classes at the Mt. Diablo Woodturning Center and is a member of the Bay Area Woodturners Club. Joe makes all his bowls from local storm fallen trees or trees destined for the landfill. With his background in 2D art, Joe enjoys creating interesting shapes and designs in the round. His work can be found on Instagram at
joealtwer_woodturning and at Nuance Fine Art in Half Moon Bay.

Marilyn Johnson comes from a family of farmers, so she knows how to source high quality, local, organic ingredients for her
Spread The Love Jams and Jellies. By shopping and foraging locally, Marilyn captures the bounty of the region in her products as she highlights some of the best of what we grow here.
Dominic Petrino
Dominic Petrino grew up in Santa Clara County and feels fortunate to have lived in Half Moon Bay for the past 6 years. He works as a massage therapist providing chair and table massage throughout the Bay Area and enjoys helping people reduce their stress through human touch. His goal is to help everyone he works with move with less (optimally no) pain and more confidence so that they can have a better quality of life. When not massaging, Dominic enjoys creating ceramic cups and bowls which he will be displaying at this year's festival.
Amanda Kerseg, Saltwater Society
Bay Area born and raised,
Amanda Kerseg of
Saltwater Society loves living on the coast and the small town vibes. She met her partner, Dominic Petrino, at De Anza College while studying massage therapy and he introduced her to the world of ceramics. They took ceramics classes at College of San Mateo and, during the pandemic, were able to build a small studio in their backyard. Amanda loves making functional items and especially enjoys making items to hold plants—small hanging pieces to display plants and found objects are her favorites. "Traditionally, I love pinks and greens but recently I have been exploring glazing with more browns and blues. I have fallen in love with hand building. A technique fusing rolled out slabs of clay into different shapes. I find the slight differences in each piece extremely appealing."

Randall Reid
Randall Reid's work is created on the potter’s wheel then decorated with slips, hand drawings and glazes. He uses two different firing methods, depending on the items: food safe items are fired at a stoneware temperature (2200 degrees) and he also uses a firing process known as Raku. He makes the glazes which are food safe and very durable. "The decoration on the surfaces reflects the beauty that I am surrounded by," says Randall, who has been a potter on the coast since 1978. He looks forward to setting up a potter's wheel and giving demonstrations during the day.
Casey Neth
Casey Neth is a lifelong, Half Moon Bay local. She created
Layers Of Intention during the beginning of her Master’s degree program in Mind-Body Medicine nearly three years ago as a grounding tool, through the creation of jewelry and her Reiki practice. Now as she enters her Ph.D. program in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University, she still finds comfort in creating pieces of jewelry that are layered with intention through the metaphysical properties of crystals.
